Trail Rides & Riding Lessons
Trail Rides
Fall 2026
Dates: August 22 – November 15
Cost: $75/ person (3% of the balance due will be added on to electronic payments.)
If 3-4 riders reserve a spot together, a $25 discount will be applied to the third and fourth riders. If you are completing separate reservation forms, please indicate this on the form when prompted.
Trail rides will be led by Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca’s Horse Barn Manager, Jonathan Temme, a certified riding instructor. Each time slot will consist of two to four riders. Trail rides are offered to anyone, ages 5 and up. Riders between the ages of 5-8 will require a parent/ guardian to either ride with them or lead the horse. Riders between the ages of 9-17 require a parent/ guardian to be present at the time of the trail ride.
Rider Weight Limit: 200 lbs.
Weekend Trail Ride time slots are offered each Saturday from 10:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-4:00pm as well as each Sunday from 2:00pm-4:00pm.

Riding Lessons
Fall 2026
Dates: August 24 – November 13 (6 & 12 week options available!)
Choose your experience level!
Beginner ($60/ lesson): Beginner lessons will teach riders the basics of horsemanship: horse safety, grooming, saddling, and riding form. Beginner lessons are offered once a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with both 4:00pm-5:00pm and 5:30pm-6:30pm lesson times available each day.
Intermediate ($100/ lesson): Intermediate lessons will review and teach riders to refine skills learned in the Beginner course as well as introduce new skills such as reading body language, desensitization, and equine first aid. Intermediate lessons are offered once a week on Tuesdays from 4:30pm-6:00pm.
Advanced classes will be offered at a later date.

Horseback riding lessons will be led by Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca’s Horse Barn Manager, Jonathan Temme, a certified riding instructor. Each lesson time can consist of up to four riders.
