Daniel Sanchez has been with Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca since 2006, when he came on staff as a Program Assistant. By December of 2006, he was appointed as the Program Director and kept that title until early 2014, when he was named the new Camp Director. Daniel’s days in Lutheran Camping began in 2004 as a summer staff member at Lutheran Island Camp in Northern Minnesota. He is a 2005 graduate from the University of Minnesota-Morris. Daniel is married to Crysten and they have three children, Lydia, Judah, and Magdalena.

Daniel is in his final season with Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca. He now works full-time with the Iowa District East-LCMS but is a consultant to the Camp through August of 2024! He looks forward to seeing you on Camp this summer!
